Sydney's language just keeps coming along. :)

Yesterday she came up to me and said, "Hi mama, what are you doing?" Sydney doesn't usually ask questions of others, and especially not something like that. It made my day!

She is also getting the hang of going back and forth with both of us saying what we see. She used to just copy what the other person would say. But now her big eyes scan the area to see what she can say next. It can be funny what she comes up with. The other day we were in the car and passed some big yellow construction sign and I saw her struggling with how to label it. Eventually she said "I see a yellow!"

Tonight she talked to my mom on the phone and just jabbered away...again, unusual for her. You couldn't understand a lot of it, but she was labeling things and talking about what she saw around her. It was very cute, and a big change.
