Pictures from our Christmas Day. Natalie woke up at FOUR THIRTY. I kept her in her room until 5:30 and made her wait until 6:00 to wake up Chris. She was SO excited!!! Sydney was up a bit later and she wasn't quite sure what was going on!
Santa brought Natalie what she really, really, really wanted - D-Rex.
Jacob came down the hall and saw Natalie playing with D-Rex and then all the presents on the tree. He started to giggle and then ran back in his room for a few minutes. He came back out and was ready to check out his stocking. I think this is the first year he recognized that it was Christmas. It was really cute. :)
He enjoys Felix the Cat cartoons right now - and was happy to find Felix in his stocking!
Sydney got a Song Bank that they use in her preschool class...she still is using it every day!
Natalie got this cool dog, Cookie, from Chris' parents. It barks and has a bone and walks...
In past years we had to beg Jacob to open gifts. Although he did on a much slower timetable than the girls (it took him 2 days to open his presents), he was much more interested in ripping off paper and seeing what was inside.
Natalie got some new drawing paper and smelly pencils...she got right to work!
Chris is awake!
Santa brought Jacob this rolling thing...I think it is called a "Gonge" - he sits in it and can rock back and forth or spin in circles. Kind of like a huge top he can sit in! The girls love it too.
Sydney and Natalie got Paper Jamz guitars...goooo Sydney!
With Cookie :)
Later in the day we had rouladen for dinner - yum. It was a nice relaxing Christmas and we didn't have to hustle and bustle to get anywhere. And nobody was sick!!!!
