The Christmas Tree

Last weekend we went to pick out a Christmas tree at the local tree lot. We're not yet able to go to an actual tree farm where we might cut our own down...Jacob and Sydney need too much supervision for it to be safe (or feasible!) at this point. So to the tree lot we go!

Chris and Natalie was super excited, Jacob wanted to leave as soon as we got out of the car ("ready to go home?" and "One more minute!" was pretty much what he kept telling us), and Sydney was just thrilled with the opportunity to RUN-RUN-RUN through the rows of trees.
Here's Jacob on the drive over. Whenever we drive somewhere, he looks outside and is mesmerized by the traffic.

Sydney on the drive over. She had no idea where we were going, but was excited that we were all bundled up and on our way SOMEWHERE!

Natalie said she found a baby Christmas tree... :)

Did I mention that Sydney just wanted to run all over the lot? Here is Natalie capturing her sister...

Jacob seemed to pretty much hate being there. The only thing I think he liked was standing here for a moment and looking through the trees.

Chris joining the girls as they ran-ran-ran!

A cute shot! Sydney's not thrilled about being held, though!

Me & Sydney :)

Jacob had this expression on his face the whole time.

Deciding between two trees (we took the one on the right).

Watching it get strapped to the car...always exciting!

Hot cocoa from Starbucks. Natalie insists that she wants "warm" cocoa, not hot.

Finally Jacob is happy!
