Since Natalie was Student of the Week in her class last week, she got to bring her two ducks in to share. I brought them over on Wednesday afternoon, what an adventure that was! A class full of 1st graders and two ducks! We answered lots of questions, Natalie talked a lot about the ducks, and we let all the kids pet them. I was proud of Speeders & Peck-a-beak...they were nervous but they were gentle with all the children and neither tried to hop out of their box. We had to bring them with us to pick up Jacob at school and then Sydney at preschool so they got a whole tour of our town. I think they were ready to return to the backyard!!
