Quick hello...

Sorry for the lack of posts here lately...it's been an EXTRA busy time for us! Just wanted to say thanks for checking...I know it is frustrating to see the same post for soooo long. ;)

Anyway...a quick rundown of what's going on here:

- Chris...working hard as usual! He and Natalie have been gardening like crazy on the weekends and he is obsessed with all of the garden pests that threaten their little plants.
- Me...just found out my thyroid is way out of wack...probably why I am always so tired and can barely remember the last sentence to come out of my mouth! Looking forward to getting that back on track and having some more ENERGY!
- Jacob...had his kindergarten IEP this week and all went well. He starts in a mainstream class in August, just a few blocks from our house. He visited the classroom and met the teacher yesterday and he *loved* it...I think it will be a great year for him. I'll try to post a few pics of his visit later on. Other than that he is totally enjoying the warm weather, playing outside in the water, and is a bubble-blowing-machine right now.
- Natalie - hosted playgroup at our house this morning and was so cute about it. She couldn't wait to play "dragons" with the twin boys who come. She also had Jacob's lawyer making her a paper airplane and flying it across the room at Jacob's IEP...only Natalie! Her lastest thing is telling us knock-knock jokes...that generally don't make any sense. Which makes them even funnier.
- Sydney - in her 2nd week of occupational therapy and she loves-loves-loves it. Obviously she needs it. Also working hard in speech therapy...last night she said "Apple" when I gave her one. Yahoo! She has a number of body parts down now and enjoys going over them with me...and she is starting to count. She'll do 1-3 a lot, but at Jacob's IEP she also counted to 5 in front of the district rep and me. Couldn't believe it, considering she talks so little. And her hair is totally growing!!
