Sydney is having trouble sleeping tonight because of her cold...stuffy noses just make it tough to sleep! She has been sitting on the sofa with me, alternately falling asleep and then jumping up and being silly.
A few minutes ago she crawled over and put her forehead on my lips, so I gave her a kiss. She said, "I luff you, mama" and then flopped back down on the sofa. Her first independent "I love you!' It was very, very sweet. :)
