The iPod Touch is here!!!

We recently ordered an iPod Touch for Jacob and Sydney to use with communication and thearpy needs...we've heard such great things about them for kids with autism.

Our "iTouch" arrived on Tuesday and Jacob was thrilled. I downloaded a driving app and he was smitten. Here is playing on his bed This is the face we got when his aide told him it ws time to come back to work...he's debating saying "no" and following the instructions. We told him he could work for it so he decided to come back to work without complaining.

We found the talking cat app for her (can't remember the name, it's a free one though) where you talk into the iTouch and goofy cat repeats everything you say back in a silly high-pitched voice. Natalie has finally found someone who can carry on a conversation with her for as long as she wants! It's her favorite by far!
