Sydney's first dental visit

Sydney FINALLY went to the dentist for the first time this morning.  Yes, she is turning FIVE this summer.  Bad mom.

She did great, I was SO SO SO proud of her! It was during her normal therapy hours so one of her aides came along.  That really helped keep her calm and with following directions.  She was okay with them cleaning her teeth, she just didn't want them to use "the vacuum" so she spit out the water into a cup instead.

Jacob loves dental offices and they let him just hang out on the seat next to Sydney.  He was being so silly and was all smiles. :)

 She had headphons on and was watching Tangled on a monitor in the ceiling.  She wanted to keep her hands on her ears though, which she does when she is nervous.  They kept reminding her to put her "hands on your tummy!"

 Getting her teeth checked...she was such a trooper!

The dentist saw her and said no cavities!  She does have a larger lower jaw than upper (runs in the family) so that may cause her some trouble in the future.  But otherwise looking good.  We'll go back in 6 months and attempt xrays that time around...
