I have to write this down so we don't forget. Sydney gave out her first compliment ever on 2/6. This is really significant because kids with autism don't tend to be big complimenters! It meant that she was thinking about how someone else felt and initiated conversation without just requesting something she needed.
That said, it was the cutest compliment ever. She has been all about makeup lately, and Chris was pretty tired from all the work leading up to finishing his degree. So he was sitting next to her on the bed and she looked up and soooo sweetly said,
"Dad, I like your eyeshadow!!!"
