Thanks Grammie & Grandpa

Chris' parents sent each of the kids a card and some money for Valentine's Day.  They were all so excited, even Sydney although she doesn't know that she can use the money to buy something.  She was just thrilled to get REAL mail and that it had DOLLARS in it!! 

Jacob and Natalie went over to Lakeshore Learning and picked out what to buy with their treat money.   Jacob got a huge container of orange playdough...he is in love with those big one-color containers they have for some reason!  He has been happily playing with it every day now ( the girls too!).


Natalie got two items.  Her favorite was one of those little trees that grows crystals on it.  She set it up first thing the next morning and by lunch it was all in "bloom."   I took the picture below after 2 hours.  Yeah, she was excited!

Natalie also got some touch bubbles and we've had a great time in the backyard, blowing them into the trees and watching them harden on all the bare branches.  They look like little ornaments in the trees.   We've also had to wash a lot of it out of Natalies hair!!

Sydney hasn't had a chance to pick anything out yet because she's been sick...she'll hopefully get a chance this weekend.  Thanks Grammie & Grandpa!!
