Our annual garden ladybug release!
My brother Marc and his wife Christine were here visiting this afternoon so they joined in with the kids to let a whole lot of little ladybugs go.
Here is Natalie showing the container to Auntie Christine
Christine was a little worried about all the ladybugs flying up at her if she pulled the lid off too fast!
The ladybugs will crawl all over you if you are near the container!
Natalie is a ladybug expert by now
Even Jacob helped...these are his hands with ladybugs all over them! I was surprised he let them crawl on his hands and didn't just smash them... ;)
Sydney just wanted to sit on the slide. She's been really sensitive about sounds lately and if we are in the front yard she has to have her hands SQUEEZED on both ears. This has been happening for a few weeks now....since she had an ear infection.
Marc & Christine brought their dog Pippi. She was a little shy at first but after some treats and ball play, warmed up to Natalie. Poor Pippi got to meet Finn...who was his little puppy ball-of-energy self with her!
