Sierra

Photos taken March 29th.

We have a wonderful babysitter named Amanda, who has been helping us out for two years now.  The kids all love her!  Recently she got a chocolate lab puppy, and stopped by to the kids (especially Natalie, our animal lover!) meet her.  She was 9 weeks old at the time (I think!) and was SO CUTE.

Natalie got to hold this bundle of squirmy puppy-ness!
And try to walk with her on a leash... ;)
Sydney thought Sierra was so funny and loved to run around with her.  She would SHRIEK when Sierra came back after her!
 Hi Puppy!!!
Jacob was all smiles too, although he was scared to touch Sierra when she was running around.  I think he was unsure of what she was going to do and he does NOT like unknowns.
This is regular life in our house.  Sydney suddenly took off and Jacob's aide was kind enough to go running after her for me.  See that corner she's headed towards?  Eek.  She stopped right at the corner and it seemed like she was just trying to play, but we never know.  It's called "eloping" and is common in kids on the spectrum.
 Taking a breather.
 Amanda & Sierra :)
Charlie was also, amazingly, in LOVE with her.  He would not leave her alone at all, and clearly needs another dog to hang out with.  Kinda made me feel bad!
Amanda got a few shots right before she left that are priceless, I am going to check my e-mail to see if I have them there and can post one.  Sierra fell asleep and THEN Jacob was all over her.  He was petting her and putting his head on her...it was adorable.
