Yesterday afternoon Natalie and I spent some time making cheddar biscuits from scratch to go with that evening's dinner. As we were mixing up the ingredients, I told Natalie what a good cook she was becoming (she is often my kitchen helper lately!) and asked her if she would cook for her family one day when she had her own babies.
She said:
"One day when you turn into a baby I will cook for YOU, Mommy."
