Chris had purchased some little toys from a vending machine when he was out with Natalie. The little plastic containers the toys came in were a hit with Sydney. One was clear and one was red, and she quickly started putting them on her closed fists like hats. She would say "spaceman!" for the clear one, and "Firefighter!" for the red one. Pretty good!
But this really surprised me. I found her playing with her little dog, here. She had put the clear lid on his head like a hat. Then she held him up in the air and said "Space Dog!!!" and flew him around. Fabulous! (5/10/10)
She also got some time in with the pop on dolls from the same set. She doesn't use her thumbs very well and so we are trying to pull out a lot of activities which encourage "thumb activation" - this is one. :)
