Drilling in the garden, 6/7

More gardening pictures! Chris discovered that something has been getting into the garden and damaging the plants, so he devised a way to cover everything with chicken wire. He had Jacob and Natalie help him do some drilling in the planter boxes to get his project started.

This is the hole Jacob drilled! Chris had him pick up the pole and put it in the hole to show me how it was going to look.

Then Jacob was ready for some sit-down time, playing with the measuring tape (a favorite). It was really hot out that afternoon!

Then Natalie got her turn....

She spent a little time with Daddy's tools when he walked away.

While all this garden work was going on, Sydney was hanging out at the sand box...
