Late Saturday afternoon, Jacob was still very sad (after coming home from the park) and asking to go outside. Our friend Jenn had stopped by, and our wonderful helper Erin was here as well. So Jenn and Erin, saints that they are, volunteered to take Jacob and Natalie out to a nearby park with a duck pond and a playground. Lucky kids!
The kids had a great time and Jacob thought the geese chomping on his fingers were pretty funny! They brought a whole loaf of bread to feed the ducks and geese. Jenn reported that Jacob did try to run into the lake, but she caught up to him in time and he didn't try it again. Of course he had to give it at least one shot, just in case! That's our Jacob.
AND when they came home, Jacob was finally happy. :)
