Preschool

It's Wednesday afternoon, which means Jacob is in preschool. He started attending a typical preschool in the fall, and just added a new afternoon each week. This means he is now going three times a week. The school bus picks him up after lunch and then he gets back home around 4:15. So it's a pretty big afternoon for the little guy!

So far he has been loving it. He often asks for "school bus" during the day, or even at night! But he does have his challenges there! They have to brush their teeth at the beginning of the day, which is something he really struggles with. He gags almost immediately. Then there is the lunch and the snack time to handle...those of you who know Jacob know that food probably scares him more than anything else! He has risen to the occasion, though, and has even tasted cantaloupe and carrots in school...the only fruits/vegetables to enter his body willingly in probably a year and a half!

Anyway, as usual I am worried about how he is doing this afternoon! His tummy was hurting him this morning because he had't eaten much yesterday and then DID eat a lot this morning. This usually causes him to complain. So I hope he is feeling well. AND we had to go pick him up from school on Monday afternoon because he fell asleep while playing with a peer. But today I don't have the car and so it would make getting him much more difficult.

The afternoon is halfway over - hopefully he's there having a great time with his friends. We'll see how it turns out...
