Jacob has always had an obsession with water. Since he was a really little guy - 6 months old - he has wanted to use the water hose when we are out in the front yard. Unfortunately he mostly wants to water the concrete, rather than the bushes and grass which could actually use it!
We have had to work with him each summer to keep his need for water play under control. This summer our issue is that he wants to turn the hose on FULL blast - apparently there is a fire somewhere he needs to put out! We go back and forth with the water pressure...I turn it down, then he goes to turn it up.
Sometimes he tolerates it when I turn the water pressure down. Other times, we get THE TANTRUM:
