Jacob & Ginger

Jacob's been doing some drills in therapy to help him get used to our new kitten, Ginger. He uses a little gray "fur-real friends" kitten which meows and purrs when petted, and is prompted to pet it gently and say "nice kitty!"

So far though, he hasn't had much interest in Ginger, other than to laugh when she gets her late night crazies and is running through the house, jumping around. Or when she is trying to catch a fly. :)

But the other day, he took one of her toys (one of those long wands with the toy dangling down on a string) and played with her! He went over and bounced the little mouse at the end of the wand in front of her just like we do. And he was giggling as she jumped and pounced on it. It was really cute!

After that he kicked back on top of the side table in the sun, and she came to join him. They hung out together for a little bit. Some pictures:
