Preschool

Jacob started therapy and preschool today after having almost two weeks off. I wasn't sure how he'd do in school...it's a long day when you've had so much free time! But it seems the day went really well at school, so I thought I'd share some of what his IA reported on his school note.

Lunch time:
- Put macaroni & cheese (provided by the school) on his plate and, with meringues as a reinforcer, came VERY CLOSE to putting some in his mouth!
- ATE most of a blueberry nutrigrain bar!!! He generally will not eat these...so this is a pretty big deal. Meringues were apparently a useful reinforcer today!
- Also ate about 1/3 cup of frosted mini-wheats (sent from home) without milk. He just started eating these over the weekend. WOOHOO!

Outside play:
- He was in a laughing mood, and a friend was tickling him to make him laugh even more. He ran in circles, then walked on the curb with peers following him.

Play inside:
- He played in the sandbox indoors with peers and started pouring sand into the other childrens' cups.

1:1 Instruction:
- He worked for bouncing balls. He laughed his way athrough a few drills due to his silly mood, and scored a 100% on many of them!
