Sunday I decided to take advantage of the Sara Lee/Safeway offer and went out shopping with the two girls at lunchtime. Chris stayed home with a yucky-feeling Jacob. Sydney can't sit up yet, so I made a little sort of bed for her in the shopping cart. We got lots of comments on how cute she was in there, and she had a grand time playing with her shoes. She's not used to wearing them and found it pretty interesting to check out what had happened to her feet!!
Later in the afternoon I went out again with just Natalie while Sydney slept and Jacob played computer games. We went to another Safeway store, and to Target. This Safeway had a fountain out front which Natalie LOVED! We spent a lot of time looking at the water and talking about fountains. She thought it was a swimming pool and was asking so sweetly to go in. She did eventually settle with being allowed to dip in a finger!
Natalie also loved the Valentine's display in this Safeway. She found a bunch of black stuffed bears that she wanted to take home. Of course, many of you know she already has a million or so stuffed animals (and loves them ALL) so we had to let the black bears stay in their Safeway house!
