Jacob got his first time out in preschool today! Apparently the kids were playing outside and he kept trying to lie down in a puddle (is anyone surprised?). After several warnings, the teacher gave him a time out. His IA said that he was very good about it and didn't fuss or fight it. He is so cute. :) He just can't resist water!!
Other items of note from today's school log:
- While outside, he independently got his teacher's attention and SAID "HI." (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
- He loves playing basketball, and after being prompted by the IA a few times to ask friends to play with him, he was doing it independently!
- Attempted to ride a two-wheel bike and had a "huge" smile on his face!
- Ate crackers and YOGURT (which he won't eat at home lately)
- Attempted to escape out the preschool playground (into the regular school yard) by scooting his bike out the open gate door! Thankfully the IA was able to catch him first!
