I have found some wonderful information on Elizabeth Foss' blog. Based on her recommendation, I ordered some "Catholic Children's Treasure Box" books - one for each stocking.
They came in last week and I am so glad I did...they are ADORABLE! Book number one is dated 1957, edited by the Maryknoll Sisters. The illustrations are so cute. They have stories, poems, games, things to do, and fun things to make.
The pictures in this post are all from the first book.
